How to raise extra money on the night
Although ticket selling is a great start, take your fundraising to the next level by offering additional fun activities on the night to help your charity even further!
Here are a few charity fundraising ideas to help you on your way…
- Raffle: Prior to the event, purchase an array of small gifts and treats for your guests to be in with the chance of winning through buying raffle tickets.
- Silent Auction: Showcase a few exclusive or larger items for your guests to auction for.
- Sponsor the race: Offer the guests the opportunity to sponsor one (or more) of the races – the race can even be named after them!
- Hold extra race-themed competitions within the group – for example, the overall quickest greyhound and overall slowest.
- Have donation buckets (or similar collections) on your tables.
What’s more, our Owlerton team are always more than happy to contribute prizes and treats towards your raffle – Don’t hesitate to ask us!
