The Royal Ascot dates back to 1711, when Queen Anne discovered an area of land nearby Windsor Castle that was perfect for horses to get gallop at length, and then founded the renowned races.
On Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot, the highlight race is the Gold Cup, a Group One competition covering a demanding two-and-a-half mile!
Since its establishment in 1807, this race has become the most esteemed event for long-distance horses and has a close connection to the royal family – so much so, the event includes a Royal Procession and the singing of the national anthem.

Our 3 course restaurant menu includes slowly braised brisket of beef and Yorkshire pudding, or sweet potato & mushroom bourguignon, plus a vanilla cheesecake with Eton mess topping for dessert.
The VIP menu (served in the VIP Boxes) includes either roast pork and potatoes banquet or a steak pie and chips; with a selection of tasty platters to start.

Royal Ascot Dress Code
