On Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot, the highlight race is the Gold Cup, a Group One competition covering a demanding two-and-a-half mile!
Since its establishment in 1807, this race has become the most esteemed event for long-distance horses and has a close connection to the royal family – so much so, the event includes a Royal Procession and the singing of the national anthem.

Our 3 course restaurant menu includes slowly braised brisket of beef and Yorkshire pudding, or sweet potato & mushroom bourguignon, plus a vanilla cheesecake with Eton mess topping for dessert.
The VIP menu (served in the VIP Boxes) includes either roast pork and potatoes banquet or a steak pie and chips; with a selection of tasty platters to start.

Royal Ascot Dress Code
Although down south you’ll discover spectators dressed to the nines in their luxurious attire, here at Owlerton Stadium we’re a little more relaxed and don’t have a strict dress code – However, if you fancy wearing your finest garms to celebrate Ladies’ Day you’re more than welcome to!
