We invite you to join us for a day of world-class entertainment and incredible hospitality as we mark Cheltenham Festival of Racing at Owlerton Stadium.
The Cheltenham races have been hugely successful for over 200 years since the 1900s when the famed equestrian event was first created by British impresario Frederick Cathcart. Since the first race in 1818, the crowds have soared with around 70,000 tickets sold per day in the iconic venue.
When is the Cheltenham Festival?
This year it runs from Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th March 2025. At Owlerton Stadium, we’re celebrating on Thursday 13th.
What to Expect?
With Cheltenham running across four days, Owlerton will be celebrating the festival on Day 3, also known as ‘St. Patrick’s Thursday’ – The feature races this day are the renowned Ryanair Steeple Chase, along with other key races such as the Grade 1 Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle.
