Once you’re all shopped out, why not pop over to Leopold Square for some daytime drinking and a bite to eat? There are plenty of places to eat some lunch, from places like Wagamama to Zizzi Italian – there’ll be something to suit everybody’s tastes. Then wash down that meal with a few drinks in Cubana, a tapas restaurant and cuban bar open from 12:00 most weekdays!
Looking for something to provide a little more excitement throughout the afternoon? Then take a look at Sheffield’s ‘Escape Rooms’. Sixty minutes to escape a locked room – Do you have what it takes? Get a group of you together and you’ll be faced with many different quizzes, puzzles and other challenges in order to find a way out. Show off your problem solving skills and test yourselves. There are four seperate rooms to choose from, each with a different theme. From witchcraft and wizardry, to a contagion room where you must try to escape with a vaccine. There’s so much going on in these rooms, it’s bound to be thrilling as you work hard to test yourselves and your skills.
After these Escape Rooms – and with any luck you managed to get out within the 60 minutes allowed – your heart will be racing and you’ll be able to continue the excitement with an evening at the greyhound races. Head over to Owlerton Greyhound Stadium and enjoy a meal in the restaurant. The food is of an extremely high quality and available for affordable prices with a variety of different meals available on the menu. Combine this with the incredible panoramic view of the racetrack from your table as you watch the dogs race and you’re bound to have an amazing evening! The friendly staff will be taking your bets for each race from the table and you can cheer those winners on around the track.
