Do you have accessible facilities?
Yes, we have the accessible facilities to accommodate all our customers. Please mention at the time of booking so we can accommodate.
Is there a defibrillator on site?
Yes, Owlerton Stadium has a defibrillator and fully stocked medical room on site. Our sister venue, Napoleons Casino also has a defibrillator on site in case of medical emergency.
Is there parking available at Owlerton Stadium?
Yes, we have an on-site car park with 400 parking spaces.
Do you have bicycle storage?
Our sister venue, located next door, has on-site bicycle parking for cyclists.
Are children permitted in the Stadium?
Children are allowed in all areas of the stadium but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
What days do you race?
Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday Afternoon’s are public race nights. Tuesday and Thursday behind closed doors for trainers only.
What time does the Stadium open on race nights?
Friday Gates open 5:00pm.
Saturday Gates open 5:30pm.
Sunday gates open 1:00pm.

What are the general admission prices?

What time does the bar close?
Bars remain open late after racing has finished.
Can I pay by debit or credit card?
For restaurant and VIP bookings, we accept all major credit and debit cards with the exception of Diners Club and American Express. However, our 6 Pack race night package cannot be paid for by credit card due to the inclusion of bets. Alternatively, if you prefer to pay cash, you can do so by visiting the Stadium reception/reservations office during opening hours.

Who do I make cheques payable to?
Sheffield Sports Stadium Ltd, but we must have 14 days clearance for cheques.
How do I sponsor a race?
Race sponsorship is available from £50. A minimum of 1 weeks’ notice is required to book a sponsored race. The race that you sponsor will be given a name of your choice (subject to approval). This will be printed in the racecard and announced during the evening. When the race has run you will be invited to go to the podium to present the trophy to the owner or trainer of the Greyhound and you will receive a souvenir photograph of the presentation. Is there a cash machine in the stadium?
Yes, situated in the Paddock Bar.
Do you have a dress code?
The dress code is smart casual (jeans allowed).
What drinks do you serve at Owlerton Stadium?
We have a comprehensive Drinks Menu available in our restaurant and three bars. Alternatively, visitors can take advantage of a drinks package, at a fixed price per head, making it easier to budget. The Snack Bar also serves a variety of hot and cold drinks.
Do you serve fast food?
Yes, there is a snack bar situated on the ground floor next to the Paddock Bar.
How much does the restaurant cost?
We have prices from £16 per person depending on the month and date of your visit. All prices include admission, racecard and a 2- or 3-course meal. A minimum £10 per person deposit and £2 booking fee is required on booking. The full balance is due two weeks prior to event.
Do we need to book a dining time?
A dining time required on a Sunday but not on a Friday or Saturday.
The table is yours all night on a Friday and Saturday from when the stadium opens, and you can eat as and when you are ready.
How much do the VIP Boxes cost?
We have prices from £33 per person for the hot and cold buffet depending on the month and date of your visit. A minimum £10 per person deposit and £2 booking fee is required on booking. The full balance is due two weeks prior to event.
What’s included in the VIP Boxes?
Our four private VIP Hospitality Boxes cater for 20 people in an individual box (minimum booking of 15) or for up to 80 guests when merged together. Guests are required to choose from the VIP Boxes Menu two weeks prior to their booking.
All VIP Hospitality Boxes have their own elevated balcony, refrigerated mini bar and table betting service facilities, so you can enjoy the racing while we bring you your winnings! Bar service and betting service is included in your own private box.
