Staff at Owlerton Stadium are getting ready to welcome NHS staff from across Sheffield and South Yorkshire as part of its NHS Month. Throughout March, anyone employed by the
NHS including doctors, nurses, paramedics, dentists and pharmacists will be able to take advantage of a special offer open only to them. All NHS card holders will receive a free drink, free admission and a free racecard for up to 4 people.
Owlerton Stadium’s NHS Month is part of a nationwide campaign being rolled out by greyhound stadia across the country. Stadia belonging to the Race Course Promoters Association (RCPA) are offering special promotions to recognise the important contribution NHS workers make to the lives of local people.
As the UK’s sixth most popular spectator sport, greyhound racing brings together people of all ages and backgrounds in the shared enjoyment of watching greyhounds race. Owlerton Stadium looks forward to welcoming new and current spectators to its popular race nights on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
